Η Nintendo δεν θέλει να κάνει άλλα λάθη…
Και έτσι μαθαίνουμε για την κονσόλα Wii U αποφάσισε να καθυστερήσει παιχνίδια για την κονσόλα και πολλά launch games για το 2013. Τα νέα έρχονται από μια έκθεση – earnings report, της εταιρία και καθώς ο πρόεδρος της Nintendo Satoru Iwata μίλησε τη Δευτέρα.
Αν κανείς λοιπόν θα θέλει να πιάσει στα χέρια του Nintendo developed τίτλους όπως τα New Super Mario Bros. U και Pikmin 3 θα πρέπει να περιμένει ενώ θα ανταμειφθεί. Θα στηθεί και άφθονο hype για την κονσόλα ενώ ο Iwata είπε πως η εταιρία θα είναι συντηρητική στο λανσάρισμα των Wii U games.
“[We] realize the biggest challenge is to make sure that Wii U sells well even in the next year after the holiday season, and we are working on that too,” said Iwata, “Nintendo tends to release too many titles at the launch of a hardware system and as a result suffers a drop in new games for quite some time after launch, and for the Wii U launch, we are being careful not to let it happen.”
“Fortunately, third-party publishers overseas are launching many titles for us this time, and we were able to push back the release of some of the titles that we had originally intended to release as launch titles until next year.”
Η εταιρία θα ‘μετρά’ τα first-party releases, και αυτή τη φορά θα αφήσει τα third-party games όπως τα Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 και Assassin’s Creed 3 να κουβαλήσουν αρχικά το βάρος.
Όλα αυτά είναι σε αντίθεση με τα όσα συνέβησαν παλαιότερα με τα Nintendo 64, the Nintendo DS, Gamecube, Nintendo 3DS ή και το Nintendo Wii που ΠΑΝΤΑ είχαν μερικά original Nintendo παιχνίδια από την αρχή στο line up.
Χμμμ, μήπως περιμένουν να απαλύνει και η κρίση;!
