Είναι μια ‘δική μας’ επιτυχία. Το Taxibeat, μια smartphone app για να καλείς ταξί και taxi driver marketplace έφτασε και στο Παρίσι.
Μετά την Αθήνα, τον Μάιο του 2011, έχει φτάσει στο Rio de Janeiro και το São Paulo, το Oslo, το Βουκουρέστι και τώρα, στη Πόλη του Φωτός.
Η Taxibeat smartphone app, για iOS και Android, βοηθά να βρεις και να διαλέξεις ταξί ενώ έχει μια ala Tripadvisor βαθμολόγηση των ταξί και των οδηγών.
Τι έχει το ταξί; εξυπηρέτηση, ποιότητα κ.α: “Things get interesting when you consider the emergent behaviors we observe in our first cities. By turning taxi hailing into a marketplace, we’ve witnessed dramatic improvement in quality of service, resulting in satisfied passengers and proud taxi drivers: drivers asking people if the temperature in the car is right, or what kind of music they’d like to hear, and going out of their way to assist in every way they can,” λέει η Taxibeat marketing κα Αλεξάνδρα Σιγάλα στο techcrunch.
Και είναι η διαφορά από τις άλλες εφαρμογές του τύπου: “Our approach is different on the fundamentals; they modernize the traditional radio-taxi service by skipping the tedious phone-call to the operator. We replace that model with a direct passenger-to-driver marketplace. We provide the platform (hailing app, reputation system, etc.) and let market dynamics do the rest. In more ways than one, we are more Airbnb than Hailo,” λέει η Sigala.
Το Taxibeat είναι δημιούργημα του Νίκου Δρακάκη (CEO), Νίκου Δαμηλάκη (senior iPhone developer), Κωστή Σακκά (web services developer) και Μιχάλη Σφιχτού. (design, UI/UX). Η εταιρία έχει χρηματοδότηση €1 εκατομμύριο ήδη και είναι στη φάση επένδυσης άλλων €4-5M Series A.
