Τώρα που πολλές ταινίες γυρίζονται με HDSLR έρχεται η θρυλική Tascam που έχει παράδοση στους audio recorders με το DR-60D. Το δε “rugged” DR-60D κουμπώνει κάτω από την κάμερα και μας δίνει εσωτερικό “digital slate” για καλύτερο syncing, 3.5mm έξοδο για την DSLR και κουμπί για ρύθμιση φωνής, αθόρυβη λειτουργία και lockable XLR/TRS ενώ εγγράφει μέχρι και σε 96khz 24bits σε SD.
