Η Nintendo επιβεβαιώνει πως δουλεύει πάνω σε “video game related hardware,” κάτι που σημαίνει και νέα κονσόλα…
Η εταιρία πάντως λέει πως δεν θα εγκαταλείψει τα Wii U και 3DS. Οι πληροφορίες έρχονται από ένα τμήμα Questions & Answers για επενδυτές και με στοιχεία από τον πρόεδρο President Satoru Iwata για τα μεσοπρόθεσμα σχέδια: “Once we launch a new platform, we naturally start to prepare for the next one. As it takes several years to develop a single platform, if you ask us whether we are preparing for our next system, then the correct response will be that we are always developing new hardware.”
Το στέλεχος επιμένει πως η Nintendo δεν έχει στόχο να ετοιμάσει τα launch dates και τις τιμές σύντομα αλλά προσέθεσε: “I can certainly assure you that we are not at a dead end of any kind in which we are out of ideas for developing new hardware. I of course believe that launching new hardware will not produce good results unless we first make sure that those who have already purchased our platforms are satisfied.”
Τα μόνα που γνωρίζαμε μέχρι σήμερα για τέτοιες εξελίξεις ήταν για ένα μηχάνημα που έχει σχέση με την υγεία και κάποιο hardware. Αλλά η πορεία του Wii U παρά τη βοήθεια των Super Smash Bros. και του Mario Kart 8, ήταν απλά απογοητευτική…
