Το όμορφο γαλλικό DS X E-Tense concept, δεν θα βγει στην παραγωγή. Λογικό. Μας δίνει όμως μια ιδέα για ένα “object of desire” που είναι κάτι ανάμεσα σε roadster και σε sedan. Και είναι υπέροχο.
Το X E-Tense δεν έχει πολλά κοινά με το 2016 E-Tense, αλλά είναι ηλεκτρικό και creative:
“The concept cars we have seen at motor shows in recent years haven’t really moved us,” είπε ο σχεδιαστής της DS, ή αλλιώς design director, κ.Thierry Metroz. “They give the impression that the notion of pleasure has been sacrificed in the new generation of electric and/or autonomous concept cars, which tend to immerse occupants in a bubble packed with display screens and synthetic seats.”
Με μια εμπνευσμένη από τα αγωνιστικά, open-air cockpit σχεδίαση στόχος είναι να αποτελεί μια “sensuous capsule”.
