…τελικά όμως Audi και Airbus αποφάσισαν να προχωρήσουν για ένα modular, do-it-all commuter όχημα για το δρόμο και τον αέρα.

Το Pop.Up concept είναι η συνέχει στο design study του Pop.Up Next λοιπόν, όλα για ένα ηλεκτρικό sci-fi-like όχημα.

“We believe it will be a very long time before an air taxi can be serially produced that does not require passengers to change vehicles. In the modular concept of Pop.Up, we were working on a solution with the highest complexity,” είπε εκπρόσωπος της Audi στο Automotive News Europe.

Την ίδια ώρα η αδερφή-εταιρία Porsche ανακοίνωσε συνεργασία με την αντίπαλο της Airbus, την Boeing για την αγορά των Ιπτάμενων Τaxi.

Pop.Up Next – a modular concept to solve traffic problems in cities. The ultra-light, two-seater passenger cabin can be attached either to a car module or to a flight module. The dominant interior feature is a 49-inch screen, while interaction between humans and the machine is performed by speech and face recognition, eye-tracking and a touch function.
