…trailer για την ταινία που, όπως λέει ο δημιουργός, είναι “the true story behind the making of Citizen Kane, chronicling the relationship between groundbreaking filmmaker/star Orson Welles and the film’s screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz. Debates have swirled for years over whether Kane was Welles’ vision or Mankiewicz’s.”
Με τομ σκηνοθέτη εργάστηκε ο Eric Roth -“Forrest Gump” και “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”- στο σενάριο.
Ο Roth λέει πως η ταινία είναι “shot and edited like a 1930s movie”. Λέει για τον Fincher: “It’s an incredible piece. He did a black-and-white 30s movie. It looks like a 30s movie and feels like one.”
Ο Gary Oldman είναι ο Mank, ο Tom Burke είναι ο Orson Welles, η Amanda Seyfried η Marion Davies, η Lily Collins η Rita Alexander, ο Tom Pelphrey είναι ο αδερφός του Mank.
