…Seattle που παράγει αποκλειστικά ηλεκτρικής πρόωσης αεροσκάφη, θα συνεργαστούν. Η DHL είναι η πρώτη που παραγγέλνει 12 ηλεκτρικά αεροσκάφη Alice eCargo.
Η Eviation με το Alice έφτιαξε το “world’s leading fully electric aircraft, which enables airlines – both cargo and passenger – to operate a zero-emission fleet”.
Η Eviation αναμένει να παραδώσει τα ηλεκτρικά Alice στην DHL Express από το 2024.

Με αυτό τον τρόπο η DHL στοχεύει να ετοιμάσει ένα “electric Express” δίκτυο. Το Alice το πετά ένας μόνο πιλότος και μπορεί να μεταφέρει 2,600 λίβρες (1,250 κιλά). Μπορεί και φορτίζει σε 30 λεπτά ανά ώρα πτήσης για 440 ναυτικά μίλια απόσταση (815 χιλιόμετρα). Το Alice μπορεί δε να δουλέψει σε όλα τα περιβάλλοντα.
Η εταιρία θέλει να χτίσει zero emission Alice feeder δίκτυα στις ΗΠΑ με αρχή μάλλον την Καλιφόρνια.
