…ήταν υπό κατασκευή. Από την άλλη το Air Force Magazine είχε μεταφέρει πως πλέον και το έκτο αεροσκάφος είναι υπό κατασκευή.
Μάλιστα με έξι υπερβομβαρδιστικά Raiders B-21 σε διάφορα στάδια κατασκευής, το πρόγραμμα περιγράφεται ως ένα “model” πρόγραμμα που έτρεξε και χάρη στη χρήση software με το οποίο το νέο αεροσκάφος ‘δοκιμάστηκε’ πριν κοπεί μέταλλο μέσω του digital testing.
Ο κ.Jason R. Armagost, director of strategic plans, programs, and requirements στην Air Force Global Strike Command, είπε στην εκδήλωση 2022 Nuclear Deterrence Summit πως η πρώτη πτήση για γίνει φέτος:
“The B-21, going into the future, is going to be our penetrating, get inside the anti-access, area of denial, dual-capable aircraft,” είπε Armagost όπως είπε το Air Force Magazine. “There are now six of those in existence. The rollout will probably be sometime this year. I’m not at liberty to give the likely date of that, but [it will be] quickly followed by first flight.”
