…ετοιμαστούν νέες μονάδες παραγωγής. Σήμερα λοιπόν η Intel ανακοίνωσε την πρώτη φάση στην οποία θα επενδύσει 80 δισεκατομμύρια ευρώ στην ΕΕ μέσα στην επόμενη δεκαετία.
Στην ανακοίνωση περιλαμβάνονται αρχικά επενδύσεις 17 δις ευρώ για ένα mega-σημείο παραγωγής και όχι μόνο στο Magdeburg της Γερμανίας, μια μονάδα σχεδιασμού και R&D στη Γαλλία, R&D, κατασκευή και υπηρεσίες foundry όπως και back-end παραγωγή σε Ιρλανδία, Ιταλία, Πολωνία και Ισπανία.
Τα δύο εργοστάσια στο Magdeburg θα ξεκινήσουν να φτιάχνονται από τις αρχές του 2023 με την παραγωγή να ξεκινά το 2027.
