Η βρετανική Bowers & Wilkins ανακοίνωσε τη συνεργασία της με το James Bond film franchise και έτσι ο Bond απέκτησε τα ακουστικά του.
Έχουν περάσει 60 χρόνια από τότε που ο James Bond εμφανίστηκε στους σινεφίλ με το υπογεγραμμένο από τον Monty Norman signature μουσικό θέμα που ενορχήστρωσε ο John Barry. Η Bowers & Wilkins με τον 007 δεν μπορούσε λοιπόν παρά να συνεργαστεί ώστε να ετοιμαστεί μια bespoke έκδοση των Px8 ασύρματων ακουστικών
Τα Px8 007 Edition feature Midnight Blue με δέρμα Nappa έχουν και ως έμπνευση το dinner jacket που φόρεσε ο Bond στην πρώτη του παρουσία στο “Dr. No.” του 1962 ενώ υπάρχει και ένα τυπωμένο με λέϊζερ ‘007’ logo σε κάθε earcup, όπως και ένα μοναδικό red power slider, ένα ειδικό screen print της εμβληματικής εικόνας του ‘gun barrel’ logo μέσα σε κάθε ακουστικό.
Τα κανονικά δε Px8 noise-canceller ακουστικά δίνουν ούτως ή άλλως και 24-bit high-resolution ήχο ενώ υπάρχει και η μονάδα της B&W των 40mm Carbon Cone drive.
