Η Boeing Company λοιπόν έδωσε στη Raytheon Company ένα ακόμη συμβόλαιο για έκτη σειρά παραγωγής των ραντάρ της – APG-63(V)3 active electronically scanned array radars. Τα νέα ραντάρ θα πάνε σε F-15C της ΠΑ και της Εθνοφρουράς των ΗΠΑ: “We have been a partner on the F-15 for more than 40 years,” είπε ο κος Mark Kula,
αντιπρόεδρος στο τμήμα Tactical Airborne Systems for Raytheon’s Space and Airborne Systems business της εταιρίας: “This recent contract enables continued delivery of our APG-63(V)3 AESA radar that provides unprecedented situational awareness for the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard.”
Και τα εντυπωσιακά F-15C θα πετάνε για πολλά χρόνια…
