Και οι Κορεάτες στον κόσμο του VR…
Μια virtual reality συσκευή λοιπόν ανακοίνωσε η εταιρία σε συνεργασία με την Oculus. The Gear VR θα είναι αρχικά διαθέσιμο σε όσους έχουν Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Το κινητό θα τοποθετείτα μέσα στο Gear VR και θα λειτουργεί σαν οθόνη. Μεταξύ τις Samsung και Oculus έχουν γίνει δε βελτιώσεις όπως:
- Allowing custom calibrated sensors to talk to a dedicated kernel driver
- Enabling real time scheduled multithreaded application processes at guaranteed clock rates
- Context prioritized GPU rendering, enabling asynchronous time warp
- Facilitating completely unbuffered display surfaces for minimal latency
- Supporting low-persistence display mode for improved comfort, visual stability, and reduced motion blur / judder
- Along with the release of the hardware, which has been dubbed the Innovator’s Edition, Oculus is launching four new software “experiences” including:
Το δε Oculus Home είναι ένα απλό interface για σύνδεση σε Oculus Store για VR content. Ένα virtual movie theater. Το δε Gear VR Innovator’s Edition θα είναι διαθέσιμο σε online store μέχρι το τέλος του έτους.
