Με τη σειρά Formation η διάσημη εταιρία κάνει κάτι που περιμέναμε: ρίχνει όπλα στη μάχη της streaming μουσικής. Ναι, έλα και… εσύ στο χορό.
Έχουμε και λέμε: Η Bowers & Wilkins γίνεται wireless αλλά μπαίνει και στην high-end αρένα με το σύστημα Formation, πέντε προϊόντα.

Στα χνάρια της Sonos η B&W ετοίμασε μια dedicated λύση ενώ μπορεί να δώσει audio μέχρι και σε 24-bit/96 kHz ανάλυση και υπόσχεται ήχο “denser, richer, best-in-class sound without information loss.”
Αρχικά η Suite έχει είπαμε 5 μοντέλα.
Με διαστάσεις 109 x 1,240 x 107 mm, υπάρχει η US$1,199.99 Formation Bar με εννέα driver και dedicated κεντρικό κανάλι. Μετά έχουμε το Formation Duo το ακριβότερο της Suite με κόστος $3,999.99. Έχει το ίδιο carbon dome tweeter των Β&W 700 Series και τον 6.5′ Continuum cone driver των 800 Series με συχνότητες 25 Hz έως 33 kHz και ενισχυτή 2 x 125 W.
Τρίτο είναι το Formation Wedge με δύο dome 1′ tweeters, δύο 3.5′ FST midranger και περίεργο ελλειπτικό σχήμα για full-range ήχο stereo. Κάθε driver έχει δικό του ενισχυτή με 40 W για τα και τα tweeter midrange και 80 W για το μπάσο. Το The Wedge κοστίζει $899.99.
Υπάρχει δε και το $999.99 Formation Bass που έχει σχεδιαστεί να ταιριάζει με άλλα μοντέλα της Suite. Το 6.5′ long throw bass driver σε κάθε πλευρά έχει ενισχυτή 250 W.
Το τελευταίο προϊόν είναι το Formation Audio hub και μετατρέπει ένα κλασικό passive ‘παλιό’ μας σύστημα για να streamαρει “best-of-all-worlds sound experience.” Διαστάσεις 44 x 215 x 263 mm και analog-to-digital όπως και digital-to-analog μετατροπή όπως και Apple AirPlay 2. Στα $699.99.
Όλα έχουν συνεργασία με την companion iOS/Android mobile app.
