…γάντι κάτι από τους άλλους Αμερικανούς κατασκευαστές και ετοίμασε το τέρας Ford Bronco DR — Desert Racer.
Το 2022 Bronco DR παίρνει ένα τετραθέσιο αμάξωμα και το φέρνει σε προδιαγραφές Baja 1000 για αγώνες με ταχύτητα σε ανώμαλο οδόστρωμα.
Το Bronco DR διαθέτει έναν κινητήρα 400 ίππων Coyote 5.0 λίτρων, αμορτισέρ Multimatic Positional Selective DSSV, ένα cage ασφαλείας, την ανάρτηση με το ψαρωτικό όνομα High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.), Multimatic-μπράτσα από αλουμίνιο, και 55% μεγαλύτερη διαδρομή στην ανάρτηση από ότι το Badlands Bronco, όπως και 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 all-season ελαστικά, αγωνιστικές θέσεις.
“It’s not just a Bronco with some stripes on it. We were inspired by extreme rally cars, and then went all in. For this skunk works project, the Bronco team quickly found a theme and developed CAD with heavy use of virtual tools. This is an off-road racing vehicle built out of a production vehicle.
